My avatar was created using photoshop elements11,

I converted a colour photo of me into a black & white photo via enhance tab:

Then I added a filter called sketch> pen and ink. I then save As  a png /interlaced >renamed and opened in Photoshop elements as new photo coloured my clothing , hair and eyes Saved As png/ interlaced > renamed. finally I inserted it into my profile picture.
